Dry Skin - Flaky, Scaly, Rough 


Oily Skin - Shiny, Greasy 


Combination Skin - Dry in some spots but Oily in others. Common areas that tend to be dry includes the cheeks; common areas that tend to be oily includes the forehead, nose, & chin


Sensitive Skin - Stings, burns, or itches after using certain products on face 


Normal Skin - Balanced, Clear, not sensitive 



Cleaning Dry Skin 

Rule Number 1: Never ever use facial products with alcohol or artificial fragrances in them! It will make your skin dryer than before 


Rule Number 2: DO NOT USE HOT WATER! Warm water only. You're probably wondering why the temperature of the water that you use to wash your face matters. Well, using hot water will cause the natural oils from your skin to wash away faster leaving your skin dry. 


Rule Number 3: Exfoliate 1-2 times a week to get rid of dead skin cells. It will make your skin more clear and balanced. 



Cleaning Oily Skin 

Rule Number 1: Use an oil free Foaming cleanser to cleanse face


Rule Number 2: Rinse with warm water, while using cleansers 


Rule Number 3: Using a toner or astringent is suggested for after cleansing your face because they can remove access oil but BE CAREFUL because it can irritate your skin. If so, discontinue use.
